PLAY! was launched in Singapore on the 9th September 2004. Play! is a world wide innovation with its kiosk comprising two components which functions membership registration and dispensing of discs. PLAY! kiosks are fully automated with biometrics mechanics managed via intelligent software system.

Play! has created a more convenient retail setting for consumers with its kiosk concept, which are easily located to consumers along where they travel to work, shop or home. Its fully automated kiosks make entertainment available 24/7.

Play! started with DVD rental when it launched it's business here but it now includes another exciting product and service. Game X-change was borne out of PLAY!’s aim of bringing affordable entertainment to the public. As such, consumers are now able to play a huge variety of games using PLAY!’s game X-change that comes with the option of buying and selling used games within a controlled and legitimate market place. A patent has been filed for Game X-change in Singapore, which gives Play! the right of priority for future patent applications in 169 other countries worldwide under the Paris Convention Treaty for the Protection of Industrial Property.
